The solitary figure that had led Madras only a few hours before could be seen returning with an ebon frame walking along beside her. It was her new horse, an elegantly built filly to be exact, with enough presence to outshine at least half the other horses at the market if only she�d been placed in a more visible spot. Not that Lori was complaining, since otherwise she might not have been able to get her in time. Graceful dactyls curled loosely around the leadrop, she keeps a very light touch with Leila, knowing that she probably wouldn�t try to break on her. Careful steps leading them both up the winding trail and towards the village, she pays close attention to how far the filly got to the edge. You never knew when a loose rock would decide to crumble or softened footing would collapse�

�There it is. Madras.� she breathes out with subtle relief, glad that they hadn�t run into any trouble on the way back home.

�You�ll like it there. It�s quiet, most of the time, and sheltered in case of a raid. There are quite a few horses too so you won�t be alone even when I�m not around.�
