Mission 126
Abbes Tansy has been captured by vermin!
In the DAB hide-out there is lots of noise as the DAb meet. Tangle tries to get some order as chaos insues.
"Where were you when you saw Mother Abbes captured?" Tangle asks a squirle.
"I beed up onna twee inna orchrad, lookin' fa apples." the squirle answered.
"How long ago was it?" Tangle asked the squirle.
"It was about dawn time I thinks," the squirle replied.
"That was nearly two hours ago! Did you see who captured Mother Abbes?" I asked.
"It was a big ferrety verminer," the squiele said, having to shout so that Tangle could hear him over the din of chaos.
"Well it was a good thing you were out there matey, or else we wouldn't now what had happened to Mother Abbes," I said.
As we talked the chaos gradually began to subside, till Tangle was able to address the Dab and be hear by everyone.
"As we all know Mother Abbes has been captured by vermin and the elder beast don't know. We must rescue Mother abbes at all costs." Tangle announced to the DAB.
"But what if the old vermin chaps take her to the sea and go asailin', wot wot?" a hare aked.
"We should just hope they don't" Tangle replied."We must pick three of us to follow the vemin, who should those three be?" Imediately sujestions poured in so that nobeast could hear anything but the sonic torent of many voices.
"Stop!Lets have some order," Tangle banged her paw on a table, the noise subsided."I think that the three to go should be,one of these three I think should be, first of all, because he nows what the vermin who captured Mother Abbes are, should be Treeplum the squirle, second I think Lettuce Leaf the hare sould go, and lastly Inbar trueflight."
In northeastern Mossflower Badtail and his gang of weasels sat guarding Mother Abbes.
"I wonder wath those soft woodlanders will pay to have their little hedgehog mother back," one of the weasles said kicking at Abbes Tansy.
"You have no right to imprison me, I am a free beast!" Tansy said, though her voice was muffled by a gag.
"Oh are you now?" Badtail said contempt in his voice," You aren't free untill your friends pay to ransome you."
I quickly prepared to leave, throwing on my chain mail armor, and bucleing my sword belt, with my sword with its diamond pomel sheathed. Lettuce Leaf gathered suplies, plundering the kitchen, whist Treeplum tried to remember what direction the vermin had gone.
