|Orbs lift at the sound of voices and gaze upon them. Why did he feel as if he knew the mare? Studying them harder he suddenly knew. She was the one Fire Cry use to talk about as they first wandered together into the wilderness. Closing his orbs he remembered the pain the steed dealt with every moment. He remembered how the steed would gallop to the edges of cliffs and scream the name of Starlight, his beloved. And the filly he never knew. Sighing he looks away, dwelling on the past brought back his own painful memories. As Shadowed Flames once said before his death, he thought to himself, �The past is the past and cannot be moved.� Shaking his visage o� silver sadly he moved slowly on� unable to help the memories that now flowed within. At least Basil finally found rest, God bless his soul|
