Gloom vanished for a moment from the girl's eyes as she stroked her little sister's neck. She smiled back at her. "I'm glad to have a real sister. I never had one before." The last drop of blood fell into the stream and was carried away before the wounds were sealed for the time. She sighed in exhaustion and looked to the stallion. "I'm Starlight's daughter. Would that make you my uncle?" Her eyes slowly melted back into a deep murkiness of her soul. The thought of having a sister and perhaps a uncle did little to cheer her at the time.
