Storm o' madness entered the open area. The dark silver brute did not stop. He couldn't stop. Just kept running. Just kept going. Wanting to wake from this nightmare. Wanting to be a colt again. Wanting freedom. Wanting to be dead. Ah, so many dreams. All out of his grasp. Yet he kept going. As if he could someday reach them if only he ran hard enough. Chasing dreams with nightmares chasing him. A lifeless soul he bears. Alive on the outside. Dust on the inside. His stone heart was now chipped to dust.

His mother had come here often when she was alive. Now it was his turn. The brute ran onward. No one came here much. He could do as he pleased.

"Ivan is dead." The voices continued. "Sonny is dead." Lungs were on fire. "Your mother is dead." How much longer did he have to endure this?!

|Once was alive... now dead... on the inside... once could dream... only have nightmares now... once was free... now darkness is my master... can I be free?... if only I run faster...|
