"It's alright," she cooed, her muzzle tentatively reaching downward to cover the filly's dirty coat in gentle nuzzles. It was a lucky break that she was still producing milk, having only recently started to wean Vren. "Are you hungry?" she prompted, her nudges now serving to help the baby to her feet. This poor filly tugged at every string in her heart causing her to glance about fiercely as if she'd spy the reason for the filly's flight. Seeing nothing or no one, she relaxed though her eyes remained watchful.
