His ears perk as he hears the unmistakable sound of another equine. As he sees the colt, he stops dead in his tracks. He blinks and steps back a little. Could it be.....the colt looked just like her....he had thought the colt was dead....or lost, or.....cautiously he takes a step towards the yearling colt. he speaks, his voice quiet. hello....er...is...is your name shadow of a doubt? he asks, allowing a slightly hopeful tone to creep into his words. maybe...maybe this colt was his son...maybe he knew where reality was...he would love to see reality again...he still loved her....and even if the colt wasn't his son, maybe...maybe he could adopt him. he had been a lone for so long, it would be nice to have someone to take care of and to talk to..but he still hoped this foal was his son...it would mean that shadow had family. he eyes the foal hopefully and waits.| [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
