Her mother had told her to forget Dante and what he did to the herd, so she forgot what happened to the herd. But now...this flaming mirth she had felt before was back. She wanted to torture him, burn him as he had done to Danger, crush him. He did not deserve to die. That is a cowards ending. He should be tortured until he wishes he were dead. Stopping underneath a tree, she stopped hating and sobbed, tear streaming down her face. Why had she not run faster? Why was she so slow?
