HELLO MARITIME FANS

Well it's that time of year again. Time to dust off the Wrestling Ring and get back out to all the great towns in the Maritimes. And what an exciting year we have planned for Real Action Wrestling. After an impressive first season, ending with the spectacular Cage Match in November, the promotion is only going to get bigger and better. You will see many of the stars from 2001, along with many new faces whom you have not seen yet. All in all though, the action packed, entertaining shows you have grown accustomed too will not be altered. If anything, you can expect "Big" improvements in the quality of our shows, from performance, to sound, to lighting. It may not all be there at the first show, but will begin to appear as the season progresses.

WHAT ABOUT THE WEBSITE???

The promotion hopes to have it's website back up an running THIS WEEK. At that time, even more details on the coming year will be revealed. We apologize for the website being down, and will hopefully have this little problem fixed ASAP.

The promotion plans on using it's website much more this year, and will be very interactive. We hope to put some interviews on-line in the very near future, as well as the CAGE MATCH from November between the Kowboy and Bobby Rude. You will want to catch this match.

SO WHO'S WRESTLING ........

The promotion has been in touch with most of last year's talent. It is still unsure if all will return, but you can expect to see the majority of the main roster returning. Therefore, the promotion plans on returning "The Natural" Bobby Rude, "The Kowboy" Mike Hughes, Duke MacIsaac, Wildman Gary Williams, Chi Chi Cruz among others. The promotion is also talking to the Original Sinn, Flesh Gordon, El Fuego, Eddie Watts and other great independent stars. Others cannot commit to long stretches, but should still make an appearance or two over the summer months, i.e. Custom Made Man.

There are also many other names you will get to see as well. There is speculation that you may see a few "Names" appear. The promotion is currently talking to several people, and will release any names upon confirmation. Check the website for details. As of now, the promotion still hopes to reveal the "Surprise" it planned on using in November.

Of course, we want to know who YOU want to see, so don't be afraid to e-mail us and let us know the wrestlers you want to see come into Real Action Wrestling.

WHAT ABOUT T.V??

The current plan is to have a television taping in Halifax sometime in May. However, that is tentative and could be altered. We will keep you posted. However, Eastlink television and Real Action Wrestling are both committed to exceeding last year's inaugural production.

The promotion is also working on a deal that will see Real Action Wrestling present Webcasts on the website. Although the amount is not 100% confirmed, we are sure of presenting several broadcast. We want to deliver our product to all our current and future fans. We will update this situation regularly.

WHEN IS THE TOUR STARTING???

Real Action Wrestling kicks off it's Summer Tour on Friday, May 3rd from the beautiful new arena in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. A complete touring schedule will be released on the website when it is back on-line. The first leg of the summer season will last 6 weeks. The promotion will break for approximately 10 days at the end of June as most High Schools are winding down and writing exams. The 2nd leg will kick off after Canada Day.

Other confirmed towns are Kentville, North Sydney, Lunenburg, Cocagne, Saint John, Fredericton, PEI, as well as others.

MISCELLANEOUS STUFF

- The Kowboy is currently recovering from some nagging injuries, but should be ready to go by Mid May.

- The Natural Bobby Rude and Kingman had a WWF tryout on the RAW following Wrestlemania. They wrestled in a tag. Real Action Wrestling would like to extend Congratulations to both individuals on their achievement and wish them continued success in their goals.

- Duke MacIsaac has spent the winter months strengthening his knee and is in great shape for the upcoming season. Expect big things from this 2nd year Pro.

- Wildman Williams, Chi Chi Cruz and Eddie Watts kept busy over the winter months working out West.

- Eddie Watts spent some time in Japan over the winter.

- Students from the training school should see some ring time over the summer. There is a group of 4 who showed tremendous potential.

- The promotion needs a new commissioner. But who????

- Halifax shows will be held at the Forum this year.

Overall, the promotion is very excited for the upcoming months. We hope to deliver up to the fans expectations. Look for the website to be a big part of our business. As always, please feel free to let us know your opinions. See you at the matches.
