>A big surprise: no pre-show promos. A new ring

--->actually hughes did a little promo before the match, and i was amazed that a lot of the people said "cut the music stupid" along with him

----->i wasn't surprised there was no heat for this match, as most "wrestling" fans aren't into actual wrestling. when chi chi did the headstand to escape the head scissors and the crowd popped, i was kind of proud of the fans for appreciating it

>workers were; I'm not sure. The North Sydney match of
>the year so far.

---->i don't know who those custom made marks were, but if they were those loud guys who popped for everything custom and booed everything not, they ruled! i heard one of them lost his voice for a whle because of it hehehehehe

--->i'm a pretty big bobby fan, but those marks struck again and when bobby would do his "who's the greatest" shtick they'd get up and scream "custom made man". then the big dorky looking one would lay face first on the concrete for about ten seconds.

>match from tonight.

-----> i used to watch legend when he wasin memphis championship and power pro and he was garbage. i am beginning to see what the joe e fans like, but i still think he is a ways away from getting in wwf quality shape again. he is really suited to an indy crowd the size of raw more than the bigger crowds i saw him work for.

he talked to us after the event and was very nice talking about his time in africa (one of my favorite topics is african fans, cause they're the craziest people on earth, even worse than bridgewater fans). he even told us he was contacted by my favorite promoter (you won't know who he is) chris drury and wasn't gonna get paid enough to be brought in. interestingly, i wonder how much raw is paying legend, cause drury is notorious for being great to his workers. also, tid is drury's right hand man.
>Best RAW show yet despite some small booking stumbles

>They weren't afraid to roll the dice on a babyface

>Cruz-Hughes feud. They were able to cull their North
>Sydney match of the year thus far out of a midcard tag
>match featuring performers that all fall out of the
>"big six." I can do without title-hotshotting but
>with Williams, the title could have a good home for a

>I predicted, he did get his feud with Bobby Rude-
>something I've been calling for. The only problem I
>see is that the company is going run smack dab against
>Summerslam: and that's a shame because people
>oughtn't choose to duck out as these shows get better
>and better.

---->it's been better since legend took over the booking duties, but alas all good things come to an end when he leaves on the 29th. then we will be subjected to the "k" reign again most likely.

as for summerslam, even tho there is a certain appeal in losing my voice again marking out for custom (no wait, that was one of those marks hehehe), i think getting stuff thrown at me and being sworn at at chandlers is much more fun. why does this happen? rock marks don't like when you dis their hero, especially after he loses.

and who really wants to miss storm/edge?
