LOL I actually thought I was going to get away with having nothing to do this week, but then Custom asked us if we would video tape the show for him from ringside. He wanted us to do it the show before, but we couldn't because we were working the door. I'm sure as the boys watch the tape they'll all see why we should never be allowed in the possession of a video camera...lets just say we were taping pre-show segments and our color commentary was...well interesting hahahaha. As for a female ref, sounds like fun, but quite frankly I don't think they'd go for it...if one of the guys got flipped on to me like so often happens to Brian I could easily get hurt, and getting hurt would suck ass balls and feet LOL. The funny thing is this should have been my 5th different role in North Sydney...the show before I valeted Brian wanted me to do ring announcing, which I turned down, public speaking and me don't exactly go hand in hand ;)

Anyone remember what happened to the GPW show last year during PPVS? I kinda remember KOTR, and the crowd actually not being that much smaller...could be wrong though.

This match was amazing, gotta love a good old actual WRESTLING match...and almost no one would believe me when I tried to say that Massive could actually wrestle as well, he was NOT all hardcore. Massive Damage is my hero...anyone that calls high spots in his sleep is great...he seriously does too. You can have funn conversations with him, but he's asleep, and spouting out awesome match ideas. Gary and him share a room in the Halifax house, and Gary actually plans on starting to put a tape recorder out for him LOL.

I didn't really *see* most of this match unfortunately. I was video taping and kind of paying more attention to keeping everything centered and zooming in and out then actually watching the match. Didn't help that I watched the whole thing through the little preview window in the video camera. We ran out of tape right before Custom's frog splash much to my dismay.

I could practically call this match (spot wise)in my sleep by now LOL. Between having them wrestle just in the sydney area quite a bit, I've also seen them in Port Hawkesbury, Whycocomagh, and Irishtown, as well as about 5 other places on video tape. They're great matches though, so I'm not complaining. Oh, and just a little explanation. When Wildman went for his flying crossbody off the top rope and slipped off the top rope, the reason for that was that they need to clean the ropes...they go so long without doing it and they get slippery from the oil the wrestlers put on themselves and sweat and stuff. This is the third night in a row that's happened to him.

Kingman got a nasty concussion in this match...he doesn't even know how he did it because he remembers none of the match. he was backstage and asked Joe E. the same question about 10 times in the span of 5 minutes.

I was pissed because we didn't get to do our usual fast food/hang out ritual with Gary after the show. The new schedule has them taking off to New Brunswick right after the North Sydney show, and he couldn't find another way there the next day. Ahhh well next weekend sees me taking another road trip with him, so you guys can look forward to some more news and notes from the road ;)
