I wasn't acting all high and mighty and I like Daniels too,but he also wrestled in Michinoku Pro Wrestling as Curry Man. Maybe Mutoh got the idea from Watts..I dunno, but ever since returning to Japan from WCW he has almost restarted and become great again. I also know that Hogan used to turn it up a little in Japan and was quoted as saying,"The IWGP title is the only belt that means anything." Try to get Mutoh footage..you will see a huge improvement from 99 & 97. And another thing Liger & Mutoh are used to working longer matches, most Japanese matches start with a slow pace and build up..maybe thats a reason..I dunno. I have and will always like Mutoh, unlike Inoki(wants to push shootfighters) and some other guys who refuse to job and give up the spotlight..Mutoh wants to push the younger talent. Unfortunetly,he is dealing with extreme pain in his knees and will either come to America or stay in Japan and get treatment. He really has returned to his greatness in his 17th year.
