trust me brec7, you didn't miss much!! Actually felt kinda bad for Cathy and other folks who drove in from outta town.

Lemme see..I believe there was a total of 5 matches...NO Cliff MacDonald...NO Todd Douglas...and the "fan fest" was pretty lame.

First match was just BRUTAL, and I don't mean that in a "hardcore" way...I think it was Flesh vs. El Fuego

Second match was Kingman vs. Original Sinn...a squash, not much to talk about here..

Most entertaining, and the match that saved the evening as far as I'm concerned, was the Duke MacIssaic/Custom Made Man Scottish hardcore pub match. Duke also had a manager (a somewhat tall midget) but I forget his name. Two chairs and a table were brought in...because, as the manager explained, in a pub match you don't fight, you DRINK! CMM took a drink and grimaced, prompting "come on you PUSSY!" comments from the crowd. Basically Duke and CMM took turns downing drinks (with Duke tossing a few over his shoulder WITHOUT the ref or CMM seeing it!!) until a point where, you guessed it, Duke blinded CMM by throwing his drink in his face...and then the standard "all-over-the-building-hardcore-match" started, with Duke eventually winning (being the true Scot that he is). Funny moment: the special ring announcer for this match was none other than...Corporal Kaos!!! Doing the Kaientai "bad-dubbing" comedy routine to boot! Hilarious...he was also shoved by the ref of the pub match..JOSH!

After the intermission, Cpl.Kaos and another masked guy (I forget his name), took on Buddy Lane and Steve Pettipas...I guess this was the "legends" match that was announced. Not quite what I expected...especially after seeing Sailor White hanging around before the show. Pretty uneventful match, except for a great dropkick by Pettipas which drew much cheering.

And of course the main event, Kowboy (w/Bobby Bass in his corner) vs. Bobby Rude (w/Nasty Nat in his corner). Controversial finish, which resulted in the title being vacant...setting up a return match on Nov.24 in Halifax...IN A STEEL CAGE!! Too bad I'll be away in Montreal that weekend!

Oh yeah, Double D was also there...she's double hard to miss! Actually the show started with the current Sinners (Kowboy, Kingman, Bobby Bass, Double D and Nasty Nat) coming out for a promo...basically dissing Rude. Rude then came out, and after some yapping he told Nasty Nat to make a choice between him and the Sinners. Nat missed a glorious opportunity to stretch this out, she basically chose Rude right away...I would have liked it if she had looked back and forth, looked at the crowd with a puzzled look and the crowd begging her to ditch the Sinners...

So overall, this was pretty much a "normal" RAW show and in no way a BIG show... The people who paid 15 bucks for floor seating (as opposed to 10 elsewhere) seemed disappointed.

One more thing: I didn't think much of No Class Bobby Bass' commentary on the RAW TV taping, but I loved him as a manager! He has all he needs to be a classic manager, although I was expected him to land a few cane shots..which never materialized..
