I didn`t read this entire post until tonight, because I didn`t want the show spoiled (although I knew about the Giant turn, so I skimmed this post for the details. I had faith that RAW wouldn`t do a TURN two nights in a row, and I was right.)
It turned out to be somewhat unnecessary, as the only repeat was the Custom/Eddie- in which the finish was changed in North Sydney thanks to a certain regular poster! Probably a lot of the same content though.

>The show started 15 minutes late, like every show!
Not like tonight in North Sydney. BMN and I were throwing fits because of the delays on the way to the Forum! We got there at around 6:20 and the doors weren`t open (they usually open at 6 for the 7 start).
I predicted that the show would start at 7:30. When the owner (I think- Brian?) walked by, Davey Boy asked about the start time- and he said it was 7:30. I don`t remember it being advertised as such, I think they just switched it because of the highway delays.
Anyway, the show started ten minutes later than THAT, at 7:40.

>He challenges Kingman
>to a match, but Kingman wants no piece of him due to
>his match schedualed with the Acadian Giant. So Joe
>E. proposes a tag match, himself and the Acadian Giant
>vs. Kingman and Bobby Rude.
I can`t condone these bait and switch tactics from RAW. They build up to the "Battle Of The Giants". It has to be postponed because of the Giant`s personal situation- understandle. But to just not have it when he returns? What a rip!
For the record, I wouldn`t be terribly interested in seeing that match- but I bet that there are some marks who would be.

>First match: Joe E. Lengend vs that masked jobber guy
>who is the senior ref dressed up.
That masked jobber would be Corporal Choas. He was introduced as Josh Williams at a previous show when he was the referee.

>The masked guy comes out, with a dude talking in the
>backround, sorta like kainti, stating how hardcore he
>is.
Huh? We haven`t seen this in North Sydney!

>Second match. Evil Eddie wats vs Custom Made Man.
>
>Does Eddie Watts have any relation to the guy who used
>to run WCW? Anyway Evil Eddie sucks, he is just a
>sleeper hold type of guy it always takes him five
>minutes to start a match.
I don`t mind Watts- I told one of my friends that I think he was put on earth to be an independent heel wrestler- because he fits the bill so well!
I find he`s more effective in the opening match, because the building up and stalling works on the fans who are hungry for wrestling. But I guess you can`t have him there all the time!
He`s not a 5 star worker but he has some good moves, and his matches are usually well paced.
Watts wins withhe Stun Gun.

>Third Match: Massive Damage vs. Buddy Lane. Regular
>match, not hardcore.
>
>Massive Damage does his usual running around the ring
>while the ref runs for his life. This match blew as
>well because both are bad worders.
I think Lane is a carryable worker, but I haven`t really seen that much from Damage- although his match with CCM in Whycogomagh was good.
Was Damage doing the whole "Jesse and Nick" schtick?

>Third Match: Bobby Rude with Nancy vs Wildman Gary
>Williams
>
>Everyone gets excited when the name "Nancy is said
>because there is never woman involved with the show.
Nancy eh? RAW is like the WWF in this sense- the valets only come to certain towns! Generally their home towns.

>Bobby Rude
>is getting jobbed since dropping the strap.
The Sinners are becoming such heels... jobbing all the time, but still kicking ass big time.

>Fourth Match: Tag match. Bobby Rude and Kingman vs.
>Joe E. Legend and the Acadian Giant.
>
>Nancy does not come to ringside at this match. Joe E.
>Legend gets beat on the whole match.
Joe E faced Kingman in North Sydney, and Kingman carried the offense most of the match. Not well mind you!

>The Acadian
>Giant puts Joe E. through a table that looks like it
>was broken before and then reconstructed.
Wow, a table bump and a turn- in the same show! It only happens in Halifax- RAW seems to run all their important happenings there.
I guess, though, there is a measure of respect for North Sydney. It seems that they get a new slate of matches starting in North Sydney, but I can`t tell with this promotion anymore! Matches appear and disappear throughout the tour!

>It looks like dog
>slobber.
Ugh! Disturbing... but yet accurate.

>Overall, that show wasn't very good tonight compared
>to the other two I have been to. But there is some
>good story lines set up for the next show! I can't
>wait!
They`ve put the storylines in heavy rotation... particularly after North Sydney tonight. It should make for bigger crowds.
