WILLPOWER PART 2x02: P.S.I.

We are gathered at the magic box. The entire gang is there and they're all looking at Giles. It looks like he is
in the middle of something.
DAWN
Why? How long?
GILES
Only a few days
KENNEDY
If you're the leader of the council, shouldn't the others come here?
GILES
There are circumstances. We're gathering in a building near or old headquarters in London
WILLOW
Do you think I should come with you?
GILES
No, that won't be necessary. It just a bunch of boring discussions. I'll fill you all in on
the outcome when I come back. You'd do better to keep this town safe.
Willow is a little dissapointed but she tries not to let it show.
XANDER
No worries G-man. You know we won't let you down
GILES *smiles*
I know you all won't. But I still have another worry.... the shop. Who's going to take care of the
shop?
ANDREW
I can do that.
GILES
That's not such a bad idea, but I'd feel a lot safer if there was another person with you.
DAWN
I'll do it
GILES
You have school.
WILLOW
I'll help him
GILES
Good.
DAWn
And *she* hasn't got school?
Giles ignores Dawn's comment. It's pretty obvious that he wants Willow to take care of the store. After all, she knows
most about the contents of the shop and she can defend the shop in case a demon drops by. And demons dropping by
is not an unusual thing when you're a Magic Box owner.
XANDER
So when are you going?
GILES
In a few hours. I've already packed all the things I need.
KENNEDY
Don't worry. As long as no uber-evil drops by, we'll be fine.

It's night. We see one of the Sunnydale cemetaries. A little demon is running as fast as he can, as a crowd of nine
large humans is following him. All the humans are also carrying weapons. Four carry a sword of some kind, four are
carrying an axe and the last one is carrying a longbow. The human with the bow tries to shoot but he can't aim right
while running. The humans finally come to a clearing. The tiny demon is nowhere to be seen.
HUMAN
Look everywhere. It must not get away.
The humans all go in different directions from the clearing, not noticing the tiny demon in the tree above the clearing.
It breathes heavily and is clearly scared.

Willow and Kennedy are patrolling in the cemetary. They arrive at the same clearing as the tiny demon was.
A voice is suddenly heard. The voice is whispering, but is still hearable.
VOICE (O.S)
Ego ipse vester alucinor. Coarguo qualislibet qualelibet quacumque.
Willow and Kennedy seem look up at the trees. Inside the trees, they see a girl, about eighteen years old. She looks
at Willow with a scared look.
WILLOW
Are you alright?
GIRL *smiles*
There were.... they wanted to kill me.
KENNEDY
Who wanted to kill you?
VOICE (O.S)
That would be us.
Willow and Kennedy turn around to see nine large demons. They all have a pitch-black skin and two small horns on their
face. They look dangerous.
DEMON
You two... get lost, now!
KENNEDY
I don't think so
A few demons rush up to Willow but she throws a ball of energy to them. The energy ball explodes and kills all three
demons instantly.
WILLOW
Wow. That never worked so fast.
Another three demons rush up to Willow and Kennedy. Kennedy doesn't even get a chance to prove herself here. Within
seconds, Willow magic makes short work of the demons.
KENNEDY
Why am I even here?
WILLOW *smiles*
Moral support, mostly
One of the remaining demons has a longbow however. He fires at Willow, who is just finishing off the remaining two
demons. The arrow hits her in the shoulder and Willow screams and goes down.
Kennedy takes her turn and rushes for the only demon left; the one with the longbow. Since he is not armed for close
combat, it doesn't take Kennedy long to kill him. She then turns back to Willow who has managed to stand up, though
not without pain.
KENNEDY *to the girl*
You gonna stay up there? They're dead now.
The girl climbs down and walks out of the cemetary with Willow and Kennedy. Kennedy supports Willow to help her walking.
GIRL *cheerful*
Thank you
WILLOW *in pain*
No problem. Run along home now
GIRL *cheerful*
Okay, I won't forget this
KENNEDY
Neither will we
Willow and Kennedy walk away.
GIRL *whispers*
Yes you will
The girl walks away too, smiling widely. The camera moves back to the battle scene. Nine humans lay on the ground, dead.

About fifteen minutes later, Willow and Kennedy arrive home. Willow falls on the floor just after they came in.
Dawn, Xander and Andrew, who are in the living room, are immediately alarmed and come running over.
DAWN
What happened?
KENNEDY
She got shot with an arrow
XANDER
She has to go to the hospital
WILLOW *weak*
No..... I'll heal..... nothing to worry about
Dawn looks at Kennedy.
XANDER
Come on. You know she has to see a doctor
KENNEDY
She says she can heal by herself, who am I to argue?
XANDER
We say she is better off at the hospital, who is she to argue?
DAWN
Okay, this is not helping
Willow manages to stand up and stumble upstairs.
ANDREW
Well.... that ends the discussion
Kennedy walks upstairs to take care of Willow.
Dawn, Xander and Andrew walk back to the living room but suffice to say, Willow's condition is quickly the topic
of conversation.
XANDER
I don't get it..... I'm trying.... but I don't get it
DAWN
Stop
XANDER
What?
DAWN
Stop trying to understand. This is what she wants
XANDER
Dawn... she's been shot by an arrow. It could leave permanent damage.
DAWN
She healed the last time with that Gnarl demon. And she healed Buffy's wound after Warren
shot her. Maybe she can handle this herself.
XANDER
Maybe she can.... but what if she can't?

It is morning at the Summers' residence. Kennedy is sitting on a chair at the kitchen table while Willow is making
breakfast. When Dawn enters, she is visibly surprised by the fact that Willow is up and running again.
DAWN
Whoa, you healed!? Overnight!?
WILLOW
Almost. I'm just a little tired
DAWN
Well... you need to rest. I volunteer to help at the Magic Box.
KENNEDY *smiles*
I'm sure you would
WILLOW
I'm fine Dawn.
DAWN *careful*
Can you do that sort of healing with someone else?
WILLOW
I don't know.... I think.... it's possible, but I don't know how
KENNEDY
Bummer.
Dawn grabs a bowl and fills it with cereal. She adds the milk and sits down at the table with Kennedy.
After a few minutes, Xander steps in. He notices Willow eating at the table.
XANDER
Hey Will. Glad to see you're doing well... Dawnster, you ready?
DAWN
Just a minute
Dawn hurriedly finishes her breakfast and then follows Xander out.

A few hours later at the Magic Box, Andrew and Willow are working together in the store. Willow is helping customers
in the shop while Andrew works the counter. It's not very busy in the shop so most time gets filled with talk.
The last customer steps out of the store now.
WILLOW
I expected a lot more customers, you know
ANDREW
Oh, you wait and see. Same thing happens at the video store where I work; after lunch the customers
will be lining up. Better relax now that we still can.
WILLOW
Andrew, we've been open for two hours and we had five customers.
A few hours later, the store is packed with customers. Andrew is working at the counter as fast as he can. Willow is
also very busy; everyone seems to have questions about the inventory. After most questions have been answered, she
joins Andrew in working the counter. A long line has formed at the counter.
WILLOW *to Andrew* *whisper*
I hate it when you're right
ANDREW *smiles*
I thought you *wanted* more business?
Willow glares at Andrew.
A lot more hours pass. The shop is getting quieter. Only two customers are browsing the shelves.
ANDREW
Well, the busy hours are over
WILLOW
Thank the goddess
ANDREW
So... are you alright?
WILLOW
You waited an entire day to ask that?
ANDREW
I wanted to see how long you'd last. You look kinda tired.
WILLOW
I'm alright
ANDREW
Want me to get some coffee from across the street?
WILLOW
That would be nice
Andrew leaves the shop, leaving Willow behind the counter. A few seconds after Andrew leaves, the girl Willow and
Kennedy saved last night, enters. She walks straight to the counter and approaches Willow.
WILLOW *thinking*
Do I know you?
GIRL *smiles*
Possibly
WILLOW
What's your name?
GIRL
Bianca
WILLOW
Doesn't ring a bell. You live here in Sunnydale?
BIANCA *smiles*
No, I'm just travelling through. I need an orb of Pa-ar
Willow dismisses the thought and gets down to business.
WILLOW
You're in luck, we just got one two days ago. Those things are not cheap though
BIANCA *not surprised*
That will not be a problem. Can you get it for me?
WILLOW
Of course, hold on a minute
Willow walks to the cabinets on the upper floor. She grabs an orb from one of the shelves. The orb is completely
clear. It is hard to see it at all. Willow walks back to Bianca. She takes it and puts it in her pocket
BIANCA
Good
Willow is a little surprised that she took it before paying but she recovers fast.
WILLOW *smiles*
That'll be 249,50
Bianca looks directly in Willow's eyes.
BIANCA
For what?
WILLOW
For the orb I just gave you
BIANCA
Is that what you remember?
WILLOW
Uh.... yes
BIANCA
You see, I think you don't remember anything of our conversation
Willow stares blankly in front of her while Bianca leaves the shop, almost bumping into Andrew at the door.
BIANCA/ANDREW
Sorry
As soon as Bianca is gone, Willow's expression returns to normal, looking like nothing had happened.
ANDREW
I got coffee
WILLOW
Thanks
Willow and Andrew are both standing behind the counter now, drinking coffee. The store is completely empty now.
ANDREW
So what happened last night?
Willow is surprised by this sudden question.
WILLOW
Last night?
ANDREW *sarcastic*
Yeah remember.... when you got shot
WILLOW
Just a demon with an bow and arrow
ANDREW
Just one?
WILLOW
Well.... no.... it was nine and I killed the other eight
ANDREW
And the demon that shot you?
WILLOW
Kennedy killed him
At that moment six men enter the Magic Box. They are all quite tall and muscular. One of them, clearly the leader,
steps towards Willow.
MAN 1
Good afternoon. I'm looking for an orb of pa-ar.
WILLOW
Well then mister, you're in luck. I believe we have one left. I'll get it.
Willow walks upstairs and starts searching the cabinets. She searches for more than a minute and then walks back
downstairs; back to the man.
WILLOW
I'm terribly sorry. I was sure we had one come in today.
WILLOW *to Andrew*
Did you take an orb of pa-ar from the cabinet upstairs?
ANDREW
I never go up there.
WILLOW *to customer*
I'm sorry. It seems we're out.
The man looks back at his comrades. The other five men come closer to the counter. The leader grabs a picture from
his pockets. He shows the picture to Willow. It is a clear picture of Bianca.
MAN 1
Have you seen her before?
Willow looks carefully at the picture.
WILLOW
No.... I don't think so
Andrew looks at the picture.
ANDREW
Yes you did. She walked out of the store when I came back with the coffee
Willow looks carefully at the picture again.
WILLOW
Sorry, doesn't ring a bell
MAN 1
Damn.
The man turns around to his comrades.
MAN 1
Alright, listen up. The target has an orb of pa-ar. You all know what happens if she activates it
Willow and Andrew look at each other. They don't like the sound of that.
WILLOW
What are you saying?
The leader turns back to Willow.
MAN 1
This does not concern you
WILLOW
Yes it does. Are you saying that the person in the picture stole the orb
MAN 1
Now listen to me carefully. She is *very* dangerous. She has the power to make people forget.
You probably got it for her and then forgot about it.
ANDREW
Cool shoplifting skill
Willow looks at Andrew as if he finally got completely insane. The men walk to the door but Willow uses magic to seal
the door shut. The men understand that Willow knows a lot about this town and decide to tell her.
MAN 1
We are here to stop her. There were more of us, but nine men got killed last night while pursuing
her.
WILLOW
She's that strong?
MAN 1
I don't know how she did it. She has no magic of that sort. We have no idea what happened. We
just found their bodies at the Moonrise Cemetary a few hours ago.
WILLOW
So you followed her here. But why is *she* here?
MAN 1
She's on the run for us. She goes from town to town, looking for an orb of pa-ar.... and now she
has one.
WILLOW
Which brings us to the important question...
ANDREW
What does she want with that orb?
Willow looks at Andrew, surprised and annoyed that Andrew finished her question.
MAN 1
She can use the orb to enhance her powers. I fear that we will not be able to resist her if she
uses the orb to enhance her abilities.
WILLOW
How can we help?
MAN 1
You can't. *We* will take care of this.
The men now walk out the store. They walk a couple of hundred yards away and then stop.
MAN 2 *to man 1*
You think it worked?
MAN 1
She'll do it... I'm sure of it

That night, at the Summers residence, the entire gang has gathered in the living room.... except for Giles that is.
DAWN
So you're saying that there is some creature that can play with out minds. That's..... wrong
XANDER
Is this something like that spell you cast on Tara two years ago?
WILLOW
No.... and thank you for bring that up by the way.... she can do it just by saying it
KENNEDY
Then, what can we do?........ You cast a forgetting spell on your girlfriend?
Willow looks at Xander, a little bit angry at him for bringing that up. Willow tries to pretend she didn't
hear Kennedy's second question.
WILLOW
I've cast a protection spell on myself so I won't be affected by her spell. Now I'll find and kill
her.
XANDER
And what about the rest of us?
WILLOW
You're not coming. Casting a protection spell on someone else is a lot harder and time *is* a factor
here.
The gang thinks it over for a few seconds and realize that Willow has a point.
ANDREW
So what if it comes here when you're gone?
XANDER *to Andrew*
Why would it come here?
ANDREW
The evil always comes here
DAWN *to Xander*
He has a point
WILLOW
It won't. We cast a locator spell to track it down and I'll go straight for it
DAWN
Problem here. She's not a human, so you'll have to do a standard demon-locator spell.
That means you can only guess which one it is.
Willow thinks for a second. She doesn't get time to finish because the doorbell rings.
Everyone looks to the door, surprised. Dawn goes to the door and opens it. They see a small demon standing in the doorway.
BIANCA *casual*
Heard you were looking for me
Without waiting, Bianca steps inside. Willow and Andrew are surprised and jump up.
ANDREW *shouts*
That must be her
Xander, Kennedy, Andrew and Dawn runs for the weapons chest as Willow starts to chant.
BIANCA
Wait! I'm not your enemy.
KENNEDY
You're a demon
BIANCA *scared*
No, I'm not
Willow stops chanting. Xander, kennedy and Dawn have found a weapon and hold it ready.
WILLOW
Sit down.... whoever you are
Willow points at a chair. Bianca walks to the chairs and sits down.
WILLOW
Tell me everything and remember, that mind thing doesn't work on me anymore
BIANCA
My name is Bianca.... and I am a witch. Over a year ago, I discovered a cult of demons who look a
lot like humans. It's really hard to tell the difference between them and humans. They are Tisath
demons.
BIANCA
Anyway, some days later, a group of warriors passed by and I cast a spell on them to make them
see not humans, but demons.
WILLOW
You made them see something that wasn't really there?
BIANCA
Kinda. The warriors did not succeed however. They were all killed. But a large part of the demon
group was also killed. They quickly discovered it was me and purued me, but I managed to evade them.
Then that horrible day came.
KENNEDY *sarcastic*
And what horrible thing happened?
BIANCA
They hired a witch. She tried to kill me but she did not succeed. So she cast a spell on me to turn
me into a demon.
KENNEDY *sarcastic*
That's gotta suck. You have any proof of this... amusing... story?
Bianca ignores Kennedy's question.
BIANCA
I've been looking all over for an orb of Pa-ar. With it, I can work a ritual to kill all of the
Tisath.
WILLOW
Why don't you just kill them without it? You killed nine of them last night
BIANCA
No I didn't. You did.
Willow looks disbelievingly. Everyone looks at Bianca to explain.
BIANCA
Those demons had tracked me down to Moonrise cemetary here. I hoped they wouldn't follow me there.
Anyway, I met you two (points at Willow and Kennedy), and you defeated the demons and rescued me.
KENNEDY *sarcastic*
They were not very human-looking besides, I think I'd remember seeing something like you
BIANCA
I cast a spell on both of you. You say what I wanted you to see. You say me as a human and them
as disgusting demons.
KENNEDY *laughs*
You're talking about your own kind now.
BIANCA *annoyed*
Oh shut up!
WILLOW
I don't remember seeing a human last night
BIANCA
True. I thought it would be better if you didn't remember me.... so I made you forget.
WILLOW
And the orb..... you stole it from the Magic Box. Why?
BIANCA
You want me to answer that? Simple. I didn't have the money to buy it but I really need it.
KENNEDY
So you expect me to believe that you can make us see things and that you can make us forget?
Bianca looks at Kennedy's eyes, who, only for a second, looks back.
BIANCA
You see me as a human... don't you?
The demon for starts to change as kennedy sees Bianca sitting on the chair in human form.
KENNEDY
I see her. Do you all see?
ANDREW
That's still a demon Kennedy
The gang seems convinced.
WILLOW
let's head out to the Magic Box. The ancient volumes are there. We might find more information
about the Tisath there.
