It's night in the town of Sunnydale. Xander, Andrew and Dawn are walking through the Sunnydale main street.
ANDREW
So...... what was up with Kennedy?
XANDER
Nothing special
ANDREW
Yeah right, so she ran out because of something *completely normal*?
DAWN
She found out that Willow and Tara were together in that dream
ANDREW *confused*
Huh?
DAWN
Remember? What we talked about... with the mind thing.
ANDREW *remembering*
Oh, of course......(beat) she found out?
XANDER
Yeah, and she didn't take it too well, to say the least
DAWN *to Xander*
I think we kinda got that with the taking off and all
XANDER
Oh, it'll be fine. I asked Kate to talk to Kennedy
DAWN
(laugh)..(beat)...oh, you're serious. Xander, you *do* realize that those two aren't exactly friends
XANDER
No, but she's not Willow's friend either. Maybe Kennedy wants to talk to someone impartial
DAWN
Xander..... that doesn't make sense at all
ANDREW
I don't know..... maybe it does a little
XANDER
We'll find out soon enough...... she's standing right over there
Dawn and Andrew look in the direction Xander is pointing at and see Kate standing under a tree.
The three of them walk over to Kate.
XANDER
Hey
KATE
Hey
Xander gives Kate a small kiss and they turn to business.
XANDER
So.....
KATE *smiles*
So....?
ANDREW
What happened?
KATE
Well, I checked their place and I think they're okay again
DAWN *surprised*
Really?
KATE
Yeah, it's all fine again.
They all continue walking.
DAWN *impressed*
How did you do that?
KATE *smiles*

This answer, although clearly a joke, makes Dawn and Andrew uncomfortable

We are inside a large room. It looks like it belongs to a very rich man; there are paintings, trinkets and
expensive-looking furniture around the room. Three men in expensive-looking business suits stand on one side
of the room while a door opens on the other side. The door closes after a few seconds.
MAN
Did you complete your missions?
VOICE
Yes sir, missions succesfull.
MAN
Very good. Now, we have one last target for you in this town before we move in
VOICE
Of course sir. Any data on the target?
The man points towards a large table on top of which is a small folder.
MAN
You will find everything you need in there
After a few seconds, we see that the folder is picked up and opened. Inside, we clearly see a picture of Willow
and large quantities of information about her. Several seconds later, the folder gradually fades until it is gone.
VOICE
Consider it done, sir
MAN
Good.... do not underestimate her.
VOICE
She'll never see me coming

At night at the Summers' residence, Willow and Kennedy are watching TV while cuddling close together.
It seems like some romantic movie they're watching. Willow and Kennedy aren't saying a word, enjoying the
closeness until the moment is interrupted by Xander, Kate, Dawn and Andrew barging through the front door.
DAWN *smiles*
Hey you two are together!
WILLOW *to Dawn*
Yeah... (smiles at Kennedy)... we are
KENNEDY
It took awhile, but then I came to my senses
XANDER
Good.... we're gonna take off.
DAWN
See you tomorrow

KATE *to Dawn, Andrew, Kennedy and Willow*

Xander and Kate leave. Andrew and Dawn move towards the living room, where Willow and Kennedy are still sitting.
Andrew and Dawn take a similar position as Willow and Kennedy on the second, much smaller, couch.
DAWN *to Kennedy*
So, what happened that you came back?
KENNEDY
I had a talk with Kate
WILLOW
Okay.... I'm confused, because I was under the impression that she didn't like the both of us.
KENNEDY
Well..... she doesn't like us..... I don't know why she did it
ANDREW *to Kennedy*
Oh come on! It was probably just Xander asking Kate to talk to you
KENNEDY *thinking*
That *would* make more sense.
WILLOW
Still, if she convinced you to come back to me, I'm grateful
Willow and Kennedy engage in some light kissing.

Kate and Xander are walking to Kate's place. Sunnydale is not all that big so they choose to walk.

No problem........ but you know this is not the issue with her, right?
XANDER
There isn't a singe word of that, that doesn't need explaining.
KATE
Kennedy..... she has more problems

KATE
I don't know how to say this without being really rude....
XANDER
Well, she's not here so go ahead.
KATE *serious*
She's not really good at anything. I heard that when they're training, Gramps is a lot better
than her. She's not good with magic, she has a crappy job and has no friends besides this group.
She only has Willow.
Xander is left speechless for a few moments.
XANDER *fake smile*
Oh come on, Kennedy is happy here.
KATE *serious*
She's happy with Willow. Today, she was afraid that Willow wasn't really in love with her.
That means she has nothing left.
XANDER
She has us as her friends... and Giles as a watcher.
KATE
Are you? Or are you all friends with Willow and she's just an extra?
Xander doesn't know what to say anymore. Without talking, the two of them keep walking.

The next day, Giles is running around the Magic Box, helping the customers. Every customer seems to have
specific wishes however, so it's just a matter of asking and getting. When most customers have left,
Arianna enters. The remaining customers are browsing the shelves.
GILES *to Arianna* *smiles*
Oh, hello
ARIANNA
I thought I'd come see this shop for myself...... nice. So much bigger than my own shop.
GILES
Thank you, but size isn't everything...... inventory is much more important
ARIANNA *smiles*
And I suppose you have a very good inventory
GILES
I hope so..... and I can order practically everything the customer wants.
Arianna looks around for a few seconds.
ARIANNA
Weird, I can't see anything about a spell
GILES
Well.... that makes sense
ARIANNA
And this means there can be no violence here?
Arianna raises her hand and Giles immediately takes a step back.
GILES
Before you hit me...... it only works on demons. Humans can do whatever they want.
Arianna start laughing softly.
ARIANNA
Sorry..... I actually came her for more than one reason. I need an amulet of Czat. You have one?
GILES *smiles*
You're in luck. I believe I have one in stock. It doesn't have any special powers though.
ARIANNA
Customer of mine asked for it and nobody seems to sell it
Giles reaches in a box under the counter. When he comes up, he holds an amulet in his hand.
ARIANNA *smiles*

GILES

ARIANNA
Thanks for the offer, but that's completely unneccessary. It's business mr. Giles. You sell it
to me.... I add 20% and sell it to my customer.
GILES *smiles*

And about the spell..... you asked your friend?
GILES
Yes, she said she'd be willing to cast the spell
ARIANNA
Great!..... I gotta say I didn't expect that. Most witches don't do spells for people they
don't know.
GILES
She's doing it because I asked her
ARIANNA
You must be a very good friend of her
GILES *smiles*
Yes... I guess I am
ARIANNA

GILES
I can and I think she'll have time then as well
ARIANNA

Arianna gives Giles a smile and then leaves the Magic Box.

Yeah, Kennedy has to work late and I thought you stayed with Andrew
DAWN

Why don't you want me to learn about magic? You don't trust me.... or do you think I can't
handle it?
WILLOW

DAWN

Well.... when I was your age I secretly read all the magic books that Giles tried to keep hidden.

And she's gone within three seconds. Willow stands shocked. In just a few seconds, the phone rings. Willow
answers, still a little speechless.

WILLOW

I don't want her to go too fast. I've seen to it that she can't read the dangerous black-arts
books that I have...... but now she said she'd go to someone else.

Here's what I think though..... Dawn sees what you can do. She'll want to get more powerful
until she reached that level. And knowing Dawn...... she's going to find a way.

Yes. You can guide her through this. And discouraging her didn't help, so you don't really
have a choice.
WILLOW

the streets.

Dawn smils back at Andrew and they continue walking for a minute or so until they arrive at a small restaurant.
They walk inside and walk to the counter.

Good evening..... we have a reservation for two

The waiter checks the log and quickly locates the reservation for Wells.
WAITER
Alright sir, follow me
The waiter walks Andrew and Dawn to a small table for two.
WAITER
Can I get you anything to drink?
DAWN
A glass of red wine please
ANDREW

The waiter walks away to get them their drinks.
DAWN *smiles*
Andrew... this is really great, you know. I can't remember when I was in a restaurant last.

It's been years ago for me as well

I don't think I've been in a restaurant since we moved to Sunnydale
ANDREW
Well, we're here now
The waiter comes to the table with a bottle of wine and pours two glasses. Then, he leaves again.
ANDREW *raises his glass*
