Leon looked back to see the guards starting to getting up the hole he made. As Ser grabbed onto his arm, he grabbed her's back tight, "Just hold on and I'll get us down from here, trust me." Jumping up, he pulls her along with him, and they stand on the ledge. Taking a final look back at the guards, he takes a deep breath and falls off the side, taking Serindipity with him. Making sure his grip was tight, he looks around for something to grab onto and get them to safty. The thought occurs to him, There is nothing to save our fall.. Closing his eyes, all he can do is wait for the ground to rush up and them to be street pizza.
Just then, his grip on Ser's arm got tighter, as he felt something happening to his body. His shirt ripped in the back, large wings sprouting from his body. The new sensation over came him, and he flapped the newly formed wings, their rushed decent comming to an almost compleat halt, taking a more diangonal downward motion. He didn't think twice about them at the moment, just how to save Serindipity. They landed lightly on the ground, and the thought that he had wings suddenly came to him, bending them to look at them fully, "What the.." Letting go of Ser, his wings slowly disappear, the only evidence that they were there was the ripped shirt hanging on him. Stumbing backwards, Iori.. he did this.. Breathing deeply, he looks around, wondering who saw him, who thought he was a freak. And so he did the only thing he could, Leon turns and runs.
Leon takes escape in an ally, sitting down on the ground. Shaking his head, he leans back aganst the wall of the building, his thoughts confused, not sure what to make of this. Was it good.. was it bad.. what did the others now think of him.. Closing his eyes, he let's his thoughts drift, thinking about the fall with Ser, the feeling when the wings came out, the pain of them being formed, yet he didn't care about it.. Just getting them both to safty.. Softly, the words just fall out of his mouth, "I'm just a freak.. I'm not human, and now a freakish creature thanks to another scientist in my life.."
