 The passageway was dark and dank...there was a musky smell in the air that overpowered the senses and could almost make one gag. Serendipity was quite surprised that the shadow creature hadn't tried to suck the life out of her yet...but at the same time she was extremely thankful. The monster was actually carrying her in its body, as if it were some kind of containment unit, and what was strange was that its body was a little on the transparent side. Her body was suspended in the belly of the jumper and was in some sort of a fetal position. Sighing miserably and not wishing to end like the others, Ser closed her eyes ans started to hum to herself.

The melody wasn't well known and even Serendipity herself didn't know it very well. Opening up her eyes again, they appeared a lot more blue and vibrant than before...they seemed to give off a light of their own. The light dispersed and soon travled down from her eyes in the form of tiny tears, slowly making their way down her pale cheeks, only to drip upon her chest. The droplets began to radiate off of her and soon started to envelop Ser's whole body. Dim at first...then startling and overpowering,"CANTAKA!!!!!" her voice echoed throughout the passage along with the large and powerful flash of light that was emmited from her body, swallowing Serendipity and the creature retaining her.

In the aftermath of the outburst, the jumper was no where to be found, but Serendipity could be seen in the middle of the narrow walkway, gun drawn, and beam sabre readied and poised. Breatless panting came from Ser as she tried to quickly recoperate...the large percentage of energy output to destroy the monster was emmense, but not too power draning...Ser had been timed to stay in Cantaka state for a little under five minutes at one time, only to be on the brink of death.

"I will not let my surroundings get the best of me..." she murmered into the darkness, starting foward at a lerching pace.
