The remaining 3 adventurers awake to a new environment, like something taken out of an L. Ron Hubbard book. Glenn was floating in a state of suspended animation, thanks to the chemicals Iori had added. Ser was strapped to a bed, just like Solace, Leon, and Naoko. All of them had a metal stud pressed against the backs of there necks, which was constantly sending a stream of ions down their spinal columns, effectively paralyzing them from the neck down.
The surrounding area was your usual cliché laboratory. Lots of canisters of multicolored goo, lights flashing, gears cranckin, all that good stuff. Iori paced back and forth in front of the tables. "All right, which one of you gets to go first, hmm? The short one with the mouth, or the bio android?" asked Iori, pointing at Leon.
