*Story of my life..* She thought bitterly. *I fuck up a great relationship over something stupid, get all self-pitying and then I'm too goddamn ashamed to apologize when my sense returns, I wait too long, and then he's too bitter to forgive me when I finally gather up what courage I have and confront him...well I won't have it this time! Virgil's too damn sweet to be jaded by me! If he never wants to see me again....I'll understand.*

So she took a deep breath opened the link, sliding into Virgil's mind.
