Virgil heard a panicked shout from ahead, and Dugan's guns firing from behind. THen he turned and saw the spider, vaguely recognizing it as the group of drones he'd crushed. For a second, he looked back and forth not sure which to respond to first. K'so!... After a moment's indecison, he started running forward. He was sure Avon and Dugan could handle the spider--so it was time to find out what was going on ahead of him. He rounded the next corner quickly, headign for the source of the shout.
