In reply to: Chres 's message, "pAiN" on 18:56:20 10/22/03 Wed

She scooted closer to him on her knees, pulling him up from the sand and into her arms. Long, soft arms wrapped about his back, a hand pressing his head to her chest, right over her raging heart. She was so afraid to lose him. Another tear slipped down her cheek, landing softly in his hair. Slender fingers threaded through his hair as the femme listend to his words, and thoughts, and thought them over.

Don't be embarressed, you have no reason to be. This is not your doing, this is Lethe's. As for my hurting, yes I hurt, I won't lie to you. But I merely hurt because you do. I feel your pain but in a less devastating manner.

Soft lips pressed against his forehead, a loving kiss placed there...one full of hope. Hope was all she had left right now. She could smell the death on him and it scared her. She could only keep him going for so long. Her power over life and death was most likely what was keeping him going. He drew on her power just as she felt his pain.

I would comfort you if I knew how Chres, but I'm not really sure what I can do. However, I do believe you would be better off in my cavern than rolling around here in the sand.

Without waiting for his conformation of her concern for him, she moved her arms, one wrapping more securely about his back, the other sliding under his wasted legs. She stood, lifting him fairly easily since there wasn't much left to him. Spreading her wings, she crouched and leapt into the air, heading towards her cavern...

((OOC: Meet me there...))
