Pero doon sa nakalimot na sa history, Francisco Dagohoy ay isang Bayani ng mga taga Bohol. Bohol island is located in Visayas, 2 hours by boat from Cebu City. Bohol are famous for Chocolate Hills, Bohol Beach Club sa Balicasag Island (para sa mga diving lovers), Baclayon Church (na pina oldest na simbahang gawa sa bato). Dito rin sa Bohol ginawa ang Blood Compact ni Legaspi at Sikatuna. Bohol also is the birthplace of the late Pres. Carlos P. Garcia. Matutuwa ka sa mga Boholanos kasi every May, kahit saan sila na parte ng Pilipinas, uuwi talaga sila sa Bohol para Mamyesta. Pero sa hindi nakaalam ang pinakamamahal at nererespeto na prutas ng mga Boholanos ay Ube. itong Ube tulad ng camote, patatas, gabi ngunit ito'y super sarap. Kung hindi lang masusugatan o mabalatan itong Ube ito'y tatagal ng mahigit sa isang taon. Kaya ito'y pangtawid gutom sa panahon ng tag-init. Ang Bohol kasi ay mabato, kaya may kahirapan magtanim dito. May kwento pa nga noon na pag magharvest ng Ube kailangan sa gabi at tahimik ang panahon. Kaya sa mga Boholanos ang Ube ay sagrado. Hinahalikan pa nga nila ito. Noong panahon ng kastila (time of GSB) tanging ang Bohol lamang ang hindi na conquer ng mga dayuhan. Sa panguguna ni Francisco Dagohoy tapang at pananampalataya lamang upang labanan nila ang manlulupig. Ngunit sa kalaunan, natalo din ang mga Boholanos. Bakit? Nagka-idea ang mga Espanol kung paano nila mapasuko ang mga Boholanos. Ang Ube ay isang sagradong prutas. Kaya ito ang binala sa kanyon ng mga Espanol.
