What you describe about your BB sounds like the image I would expect as a farm utility dog. Great Pyrs are ofcourse Flock Guards. When I brought my male home, we were tired from the drive, so I let him sleep with me. The next morning, I took him outside to meet my goat. I had 3, but cyotes killed the other 2. He was 8 weeks old. When he saw the goat, he ran to it, then laid down a few feet from it.
