Subject: SABT Appraisal Buffalo May 09.

Buffalo Appraisal

We are happy to have the Buffalo Shutzhund Club's grounds for the Buffalo Appraisal slated for Sunday May 09/04. It is located at Amsel Kennels which is located on Crittendon Road - Akron NY.

The appraisal is slated to start at 8 am.

After the appraisal we will have an obedience demonstration with an award for the tightest work. It will be basic obedience with various common commands chosen at random and in no particular order by our Obedience Judge and dog trainer Earl Graham of Buffalo K-9 School. He will administer the routine and be the deciding judge. If you enter a dog into the appraisal there will be no fee for this segment. There will be an award for this section.

Afterward if your dog has passed the basic obedience set forth you can enter him or her into the Personal Protection Contest where again there will be basic commands given, nothing exotic or confusing to those that do train for PP work. The best dog will win a trophy.

We encourage people who are bringing their dogs out for appraisal in order to assess breeding potential to have their health screening already completed.

There will be a BBQ dinner held afterward for the low price of $10. Gold Medal Winner of the appraisal and the 2 working events will eat free. There will be a cash bar at the clubhouse and our host likes to bartend. This is private property, please respect it as such and take care to contain and control your dog at all times. We are all friends, let's stay that way.

Americans:

From the NY State Thruway (I90) go to exit 48A (Pembroke). At light turn right onto Rt. 77 (on your left you will see the dog friendly hotel described below). Go .7 miles to the light, turn right onto Rt. #5 for approx. 3.7 miles. Turn Left on Crittendon Road. Amsel Kennels (host of Buffalo Appraisal) is on the left side approx. 1 mile down.

Canadians:

Take QEW E. to Hwy 405 to Queenston Lewiston Bridge - Take I190 to I290 to I90 and follow the above.
