JB,
First of all, let me tell you how much respect I have for you. I have your book on ABs. Many of the pics in your book are in the pedigree of my male, including Black-Eyed Susan. I only recently learned about BBs. I have been trying to learn as much as I can. When I first learned of the breed, I went from breed site to breed site and back to yours. All the sites say pretty much the same, but your dogs look really good. You even post weights of your dogs. I breed my dogs agaist the standards also. People call me for stud service from my Dane, then decline when they learn he's only 115lbs. Well he not only will jump in the back of a truck, I had to stop letting him ride in the back the day he jumped out in full stride after a cat while the truck was moving. To watch him stalk is the most impressive big game hunting trait. He actually stalks and points, then takes it down. Sure, he's nothing like Historical Danes, but I'll put him agaist any 200lb show Dane for a hunt.
If I decide to get a BB, I hope you will be willing sell one or two to me.
And as a breeder, I agree, there is no money in breeding, only the love of breeding better dogs.
