if i wanted to follow the crowd, i certainly wouldn't have spoken in defense of terry or ed.
(or, from the other side of the coin: comlimented jb on his post about mange).
i see defending whoever is being treated unfairly and telling the truth as being unbiased.
i don't (as a rule) use insults and derision to make my points.
i don't intentionally misquote, take comments out of context, and make accusations based on no more than that which i have twisted to fan the fires of disagreement.
when i make mistakes, i apologise, learn from them and don't repeat them.
i don't use excuses such as: "I said what I wanted to..Terry does..and so does everyone else." to justify being hurtful and mean.
what i say (and what i do) i can stand behind and be proud of.

P.S.----inside joke to those reading and who will understand what i mean:
i fueled the plane myself this morning.
my life vest is close at hand and the mre's are ready.
