Hello Anything-for-the-Buck Blackwell,

So now you know more than the experts who have studied this disease for the past twenty years or so. Do you know the difference between Sarcopic mange and Demodectic mange? I wonder. Sarcopic mange is the mange mite that is contagious, not demodex mites. Sarcopic mange is easily treatable and has no links to genetics. And here you are trying...and AMAZINGLY succeeding in few cases...in getting some of these posters to believe that demodex is the same as sarcopic mange.

I am not surprised to see you concoct some sort of theory to cover the fact that you are breeding dogs that pass on weakened immune systems. Anything for a buck, right? And my guess from your post is that you have told every one of the people who bought the pups that came down with demodex that it is OK to breed them.

This is a pathetic attempt to legitimize your "if I own it I will breed it irregardless of physical abnormalities" breeding practices. And that's OK, because if these people really believe the can of worms you are trying to sell them, then they deserve whatever they get when they buy from you. I just feel sorry for the puppies you produce that don't have a chance of living a healthy life.

And this isn't the first bunch of dogs you bred that passed on demodectic mange, is it? I HEARD...didn't see one of the dogs, etc., etc..for all you JB hangers-on this is HEARSAY since I wasn't there...from several Am Bull breeders that you had problems with demodectic mange in the American Bulldogs, too. So why am I not surprised to see history repeating itself.

At least I am proud to say that there are people out there with boerboels..like Ed Davis who you are now bashing for no reason...that care enough about the breed to neuter their animals that come down with demodex or that produce pups that come down with it. Sad to say you aren't one of them...but that would cost you too much in profits, wouldn't it?

Terry Magee
