Suzanne, I am very happy for you and Ammo. I'm sure he loves his new home.
After reading your post, my husband and I were talking about way back when Nala was at our Vet's office during her outbreak of the demodex. He DID tell us to make sure we wash our hands well after handling Nala and it was a possibility that Roxxie (our almost 10 yr old Bullmastiff)could become infected (she has allergies and they flair up from time to time). Fortunately for us, Roxxie was okay.
I guess it didn't dawn on me until my husband read your post and reminded me of that particular visit to the vet.
