Subject: THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR IF YOU GO TO CINDERELLA'S

I advise you not to do it. Be very careful when dealing with Scott at Cinderella's.
Below is a list of things to look out for.

1) Pricing. He tends to over price. Look carefully at what you are buying. Guarantee you can find it for a lesser price else where. Example, I bought shoes from him which he charged close to $200, I found them from the manufacture for about $99. NO JOKE!

2). Swimsuit, he gets them from this place in Mississippi he over charges about $100 when you can get it directly from them, shipping included for about $100, you save yourself $100 bucks. (I can provided you with that info if interested, there are actually a few places that will even supply you with color swatches).

3) He tends to sell you things YOU DO NOT NEED. He will tell you you need this and that, and "this is what the judges are looking for". FALSE.. some things may be accurate, but the majority of the time it is not. Judges are looking for a person, trust me a pair of earring or whatever have you will not break or make your daughter.

Be very, very careful. Try to shop around once you've visited with him. I'll tell you not to commit until you have really shopped around. ALSO.. VERY IMPORTANT. His seamstress SUCK and once they make a mistake.. he will not make an effort to work with you, they are terrible at what they do. I don't know how we got caught by him. I wish someone would of warned me!

He comes off very sweet and nice and comes off like he has your best interest at in mind.. but it is all False.. keep in mind.. HE IS A BUSINESSMAN.. out to make some money.

He comes off very sweet that is how we fell for it. We loved him and we questioned everyone else.. EVEN THE TRAINER did not questions his intentions at all.. now look.. we were out about a thousand bucks when it was all said and done. He wouldn't even settle to give us half and he and he's folks know darn well they screwed us over.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any other insight. Not to scare you away.. but just be careful, question EVERYTHING he does.
Trust me when I say.. BE VERY CAREFUL..double check and INSPECT what ever you buy from him.
He also tends to resell things that have already been used!

I was very pleased with the interview suit and gown I bought at Cinderella's, but I agree that you should not have the store do the alterations. I got my suit back the week of the pageant with the skirt hem and sleeves doubled-over and tacked up with hand stiching. I was in a panic, and had to go to several shops to find someone to redo the work in time for the pageant (and paid double for the extra service).

I 100% agree. He tries to sell you everything. I wanted an interview suit and he showed me something from the 80's and insisted that it was the one.

The prices are so high. The dresses can be bought elsewhere cheaper. Like Steven Yearick and others.

I would stay away.

Of course you like great in everything, of course he works "directly with Miss Universe" and he knows first had what they are looking for. Of course, he wants you to buy the most expensive dress.

Look elsewhere. I still can't believe how much I paid for my dress. I could have went to collage.

Does anyone know if there is a website to view and possibly order Steven Yearick bridal gowns? Or, where you can find out places in my area that carry his gowns?

Thanks!
