Miss Universe 1990 was a bit unique. After the parade of nations, Dick Clark made an announcement about them picking the costume that best represents that countrys culture. And then went on to announce the winner as Miss Colombia. There was no 1st or 2nd runner up in 1990. The top 10 where also called out in their national costumes which was cool . -- Pageant Central!
