I don't understand Whatever~ Did you try that sax? I've try it! I don't think it's not a good instrument! at least the sax had changed all the pad set...I think that it had a excellent conditions and i think it will better than many second hand instrument! And i think just try it, no need to pay!! I think he can try more, see more & learn more experience from trying instrument. It's a big difference between New sax and Vintage~ Do you agreed?
Maybe you just don't like the shop?? Did you ever been there?

Hi Mingus,

I agreewhole heartedly that trying different saxes help one learn a lot....either vintage or modern will do...

I dont hate any one even including that SC...never met him though...

I also like Conn....got a 10M as well....

just that alto is a bit too much in price....model...Chu Berry....not bad...sweet sounding...
