The reason why l checked about this Monique is becoz like a few minutes ago a friend of mine has one and some upper notes fromG# to B the sound was pitching with out him holding the octave key,l then discovered that the problem was the neck the pad for the octave key was not closing,l then checked it again with his other neck and it played perfectly. From my opinion it sounded farely good though l was just playing alone in the house with no instrument accompaniment .

I played saxophones for over 30 years. The Monique Pro Series are great horns, good price, and great quality. I played alto and soprano for 3 years, and I don't have any problem. They are free blowing. Key works are great like Selmer, Yamaha, Yanagisawa. I recommend you to buy one if you can find. It is worth for the money.
