I appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to ask questions and I do think some clarification is in order. Twice I have tried to post an answer to your questions and both times it failed to get on the board.

I will try to take your concerns/questions one-at-a-time, and at least that way if I do something wrong, it won't be quite such a lot of time lost. If I thought you were the only one who had these particular concerns, I would have just picked up the phone and talked it over with you.

The first thing you are wondering about is where we "are". I assume you mean our intent. We are simply trying to find out what the majority of the members want. In the past when the registration office decided to change something, little or nothing was said in general. Only people who had pedigrees refused ever knew anything and even then they may or may not have known what the standards of the office were. If we had a set agenda, we would have just written the standards as we wanted and left it at that. We have tried to clarify them. This is the first time anyone has made a veritable attempt to find out how people think concerning standards or really try find what the majority feels before making changes.

Of course past pedigrees are being honored. No dogs have been thrown out. The only time we have tried to find out about a dog is when a complaint has come to us.

Next I will address the "single registration" issue.
