Subject: Moving up a level
Author: Mary Kate [Edit]	Date Posted: 14:52:36 05/26/03 Mon Can a dance teacher tell a dancer they can move to the next level in all their dances at an upcoming feis even though they didn't get 1st in all in all the dances except for maybe 1 of them? I don't think it is fair to the others this dancer is competing against as they had to work hard to move up a level. Is this allowed???

Im pretty sure it is, the teacher makes the calls they decide weather your good enough or not to move up. It is very unfair, though. Subject: painful feet
Author: No name [Edit]	Date Posted: 14:08:59 05/26/03 Mon hi, i was wondering if any of you had advice on blisters. i never really get them, although i have been dancing for almost nine years. i just got a new pair of hardshoes to break in before nationals and i have a nasty little buggar on my heel. i need something that won't slip off with my sweaty feet, too. i know that sounds so nasty but that's the truth. any advice is appreciated. thanks.

i just got some nifty stuff at the last feis (long beach feis if you are in the western area) and it looks like little deoderant and you put a thick layer of it on your blisters and it prrrevents and blisters if you want the brand tell me!
