Don't do this! The damage you do can be extreemly dangerous, and will require sergury to repair. I know, I danced pointe for 8 yrs. and pointe shoes have what's called a "toe box". This box
is properly structured and padded. Your toes do NOT touch the
ground. They are supported in a cushioned box which has to be properly fit to your specific feet. Ghillies, even the best ones;
although Hulluchan makes a gel toe, are not designed to go en' pointe. They are designed to give you assistance with injury prevention. Read up on them on Hulluchan Pro web-site. Now, some dancers can go on their toes in Ghillies. It's not smart but, those dancers who have straight toes all about the same length or at least a few will be able to put more pressure on them but, I do not condone this! I've had my toes broken and had the joints heal wrong just because of it. Please use your head.
