Subject: Knees and cold

The knees are still bad and I am using crutches for a while. The problem is the knees don't want to go straight enough to walk so the muscles at the thigh have to work harder to stand, let alone walk. Now, for the weather - it is one degree outside today with a real-feel temp of minus 18! (It might get up to 11 Saturday.) And we are going to get 2-4 inches of snow tonight. UGH. We should get some relief by Sunday when it gets into the 20s. Hopefully, I will be able to walk enough to go back to work on Tuesday. And it will be warmer!
