Lurt, you are truly someone to look up to.Having lost a son myself 5 years ago I can't begin to imagine how devistating losing your only child is. I have another son,Shawn,40 who lives in Mississippi now but is looking to move back home within 3-5 years.I have my 26 year old daughter,Sabrina and a son-in-law Paul.She is the light of my life. Hoping for grandchildren soon but they're in no hurry as they enjoy traveling and being together.I live in Mass. and have been in my home (yup, FINALLY,mine and not the bank's)for 33 years.I have 2 Great Danes and have had 2 litters of puppies;16 in all.Mom is Zsa Zsa;such a lady and dad is Rambo - such a Marley!Got him an Angel costume to wear for Halloween because he is SOOOO unangelic but he had to wear the pink tutu I got for Zsa Zsa because it wouldn't fit her and the angel did.He's full of love but just loves to be different.I used to breed German Shepards and had a massive pure black one,Mariah(before Mariah Carey was ever heard of) that was one of the best dogs I've ever known.My vet raises champion Boxers and actually did a Pedigree commercial years back. He also has the only canine semen bank on the east coast so I'm going to be storing Rambo's soon if anyone knows of anyone needing a Dane stud with phenominal champions in his line.Been married twice.Last time was 22 years ago. I may not have learned the first time but the second drove it home - I am a TERRIBLE judge of character. So, rather than making another mistake I gave up! [> Subject: Wow, you really seem like a kindred spirit - both with the dogs and the marriages! I had two, the first I was just too young (18), but lasted 10 years. The second lasted 17 and was TERRIBLE. Got out of it 3 years ago and have sworn to stay single. Have my dogs for company and love it that way. 3 chihuahuas, a boxer (the inside dogs) and a black lab, chocolate lab and a who knows what (outside dogs). I can just see your danes in costume!
