In keeping Obama's "Rose and Thorn" - what are your's?

My Rose was probably seeing a son graduating from high school this year. Tender moments.

Thorn was he went off to Alaska (from Texas) to go to college. That was hard putting him on that plane. And even worse, his Dad, who he was to live with, died last month so he is all alone up in Alaska trying to make it on his own and go to college.

Another thorn was the passing of Rosebud.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday! Cherish those you love, LAUGH out loud A LOT, feel the breeze and sun on your face and appreciate all the little things in life!!
