Hi,
The MTI LNB will be an excellent choice also for the north beam. It has low noise throughout the entire KU band. If you manage to get the 2D frequencies, receiving the north beam will not be a problem, as it is far wider spread. FYI, here in Skopje, Macedonia, we get both the north and the south beam with a 1m offset antenna and an MTI LNB. The north beam is noticeably weaker, but it is strong enough for reception without any interruptions 24/7.
