I did mine in switzerland and uk without a satfinder by the following.

Set up a TV so I could see it while moving the dish. Set up the install page on the Sky box. Point the dish roughly in the correct direction with help of a compass. Set the elevation roughly. With loose clamps on the dish moved it around all over the place, waiting a few seconds between each try for the Sky box to catch up. There were signals everywhere (some very strong) but it only said locked (or something similar) on Sky satellite. Even though I knew I could get it, it still could take 10 mkinutes to find the sat. If you see only zero for strength then check your connections, you should see signal almost everywhere. Maybe you have a bad cable, bad connection, bad LNB and worst of all bad digibox. Swap out as many as possible.
