Smartcard has nothing to do with signal quality.

There are several possibilities:
-Colder outside (LNB noise decreases and the L.O. could
be more ideal,should be excactly 9750.00MHz)
-Signal from 2D varies during the day and could now have
its minimum at a different time of day(i.e. when you
sleep..).
-A satellite manouvre(routine) could also
slightly have moved the footprint making with the result
that you are not as close to a null point/zone from the
transmission antenna in the satellite.


I think the time when the Astra 2D signal is at its lowest have changed- at least I was able to receive 2D later in the evening than I was before (in clear sky 0deg. Celcius).
