I tried to so similar calculation in my previous post, first managed to confuse myself a bit but actually one BBCi stream seems to have bitrate of about 4.8Mbits/s - direct swap does not seem to be possible, even if all the radios were taken away from the Astra 2D transponder it would not make enough room for the BBCi. But certainly there are options to do this kind of arrangement if only there's will to do it.
