If it is a 5400 and you upgrade it with the excellent (of course unofficial...) TOH 3.2 software, you will be able to see very interesting things...
For example, B4 Klassik (German radio) broadcasts at 256kbps, stereo - and, if I am not mistaken, twice a week in multichannel format (not sure about that though - I saw something somewhere, but I cannot verify it)
France Musique, Radio Classique, Hector etc. (French classical stations) broadcast on the TPS package on Hotbird (13 E) at 256/stereo, and on the CanalSatellite package (Astra 19,2E) at 192/stereo. Swiss, Spanish, Greek, Italian similar radios - all at 192 or better.
I'll know about the (arguably) best station of this kind (the Dutch Concertzender) when i buy a subscription to the Dutch Canal+ - Humax cannot see the bitrates for channels it cannot receive. (Concertzender is semi-private, and has the most exciting programming I know of - check it out at www.concertzender.nl)
In conclusin - there is no "quality" station in Europe that broadcasts at less than 192 - and only few use the Joint mode (instead of stero)
BTW - all 4 BBC channels in Eutelsat, before becoming encrypted, were broadcasting at 192/joint.
