Funny isn't it, I too had the same thought.

My neighbour certainly did panic and even went home to the UK to complete the process taking his SKY box with him! An expensive action but he did not want to involve anyone else as well as being on hand if there were any complications. He said he would have felt guilty had he involved anyone else in the deception but equally he felt he had no choice but to do it!
