If you're just swinging the dish round(horizontally)then you should only find one satellite. You need to change the elevation for each satellite specifically. So if you've got the wrong elevation you'll find the wrong satellite. So unless you've got very accurate instrumentation for measuring elevation there's a good chance of picking up a another sat. The scales on dish mounts are pretty crude and only very small differences are required to pick another satellite nearby.
