Desperate Times: Chapter Two

Chapter�2

Attendant: "Hmhm, Ms. Scorpio?"

Robin: "Yes?"

Attendant: "We've reached our destination."

Robin: "Oh! Oh, I�I'm sorry."

Attendant: Worriedly, "Shall they're be someone waiting for you when we get off?"

Robin: "No. I'm fine, really. I just left abruptly."

Attendant: "Well, whatever you came for, I hope you find it."

Robin: "Really? �Cause, I sure don't."

Attendant: "Pardon?"

Robin: "Um, never mind. Thank-you, thank-you for everything." She gets up and heads out of the airport.

Robin stands outside of the door and knocks almost too rushed, when someone finally answers the door.

Police Officer: "Yes . . . yes, what's wrong? Who are you and what are you doing here?"

Robin: "Funny! I had the same question for you."

Officer: "Excuse-me?"

Robin: "Look, never mind. Where are the owners of this property."

Officer: "Look, this is a police investigation."

Robin: "You look!! The people who LIVE in this house are my family and I want to know what happened to them."

Woman: "Robin, Robin nothing's happened to us. Don't worry, don't worry." Robin rushes up to the woman and gives her a hug.

Robin: "I knew, I knew when you didn't show-up something was wrong. I had this horrible feeling in Paris that something was wrong. So, what's wrong? What happened? Who IS in trouble, because I do KNOW that something's gone on, now what is it?"

Woman: "I think you should come inside first."
