Chapter 1



Robin arrives in Paris from Pine Valley late at night tired from the long flight all she wants to do is sleep. Taking a cab home from the airport the cab pulls up to the curb and drops her off. She pays the man and he leaves, before Robin steps inside her apartment building she looks up at it and at everything around her sighs and goes inside. Knowing her mother is alive in Pine Valley makes her wish she was till with her mother and not back in Paris. But Robin also wished that her mother could of came to Paris with her so she could explain things that went on in her life to her mother in detail. Like even though she was HIV+ Stone loved her with all of his heart and she loved him very much as well. That she attended Yale. And after Stone died another loving and caring man came into her life and loved her as much also and she would also explain how things didn’t work out between them but she believes he still loves her. Robin steps off an elevator and on to her floor on her way to her apartment. As she makes her way down to her door she notices a strange man sitting on the floor in the hallway. As she gets closer she realizes the man is sitting right next to her door. The stranger is dressed in all black from what she can tell with his head resting on his knees so she doesn’t see his face. Robin doesn’t want to bother the person so she quietly walks past him and tries to enter her apartment with out being noticed. But when she opens the door about to go inside the man sitting on the ground grabs Robin by the leg and scares her. Out of fear she kicks the man in the ribs quickly goes inside. The falls over in pain and groans very loud about to shut the door and call the police Robin stops and reconizes the voice and peeks her head back outside. To Robins surprise the stranger sitting outside her door was no stranger but a person from her past.
R.(Startled and surprised) Jason what in the hell are you doing here?
Jason doesn’t saying anything but looks up at her in pain.

Chapter 2


Jason looks up at Robin holding his stomach in pain. Robin waits for an answer to her question but she can see he is in pain and helps him up instead. She kneels down to his level and looks in his eyes. Jason looks into Robin’s eyes and sees the anger she has. He also realizes how beautiful she is he can’t believe he forgot. Robin then takes his hand Jason still doesn’t utter a word.

R. Come on I know you’re hurting let me help you up and take you inside, but in order to do that I’m going to need your other hand. Are you able to stand up?

J. (looks at her) Yes

Both together and slowly they stand up and Jason rest part of his weight on Robin as she helps him inside her apartment. Before they go inside any further Jason stops and looks around her apartment. Robin looks up at him and see he’s looking around.

R. Let’s go over to the couch were you can sit down and be comfortable.

J. Ok

Robin can sense something is wrong with Jason not because she kicked him but because of something else. As they go over to the couch Jason holds his stomach in pain with his free hand. They stop in front of the couch and Jason lets go of Robin and slowly sits down wincing from the pain as he bends. Jason finally in sitting position he looks up at Robin who looks back down at him she notices that not only is he wearing all black but he still has on his leather jacket. She pulls out of her daze and turns to walk over to the recliner and sit down.

R. (looking down at Jason) So now that your somewhat comfortable Jason why are you here?

J.(leaning back) I came here because I want to see you and because....

Jason’s voice trails off and Robin just looks at him.

R. Because why Jason? Don’t think I believe you came here just to see me. You are here for a bigger reason then that I can tell. Now why else are you here?

Jason is kind of taken back by what she said but understands why. With the way they broke up and haven’t spoken to each other in years and here he shows up at her apartment.

J. I’m also here because I just got myself out of some trouble and need to be at a place where no one recognizes me but you.

R.(can’t believe what Jason just said) I’m not even going to ask what kind of trouble, but what makes you think I want you here?

J.(tries to sit up again but it hurts to bad he falls back against the couch. Robin takes notice of it and knows she didn’t kick him that hard.) I don’t think that but I thought you might be willing to help me.

R.(getting irritated) Help you with what and why should I?
J. Help me by letting me stay here.

R.(shakes her head.) No, I don’t think so. Jason what ever trouble you got yourself in what makes you think it didn’t follow you here?

J.(hurting) It didn’t I made sure of it.

R.(looks away from him for a few seconds and returns her gaze.) So you think I’m going to give you a place to stay just because your hurt?

J. I don’t know.

R. Well you know what just looking at you hurts me you being in this room hurts me. (gets up from the recliner and walks over to the window and stares at the moonlit sky) I never thought I’d see your face again.(turns around and looks straight at Jason.) So what changed you mind Jason? You said to me you never wanted to see my face again but 2 years later you show up at my apartment door. Not only that your hurt. Jason I’ve just been through a life altering situation and I don’t need you to add on to it.

J.(he turns his head looking at her worried by what she means life altering situation) What do you mean life altering situation?

R. That isn’t important.

J. Does it have to do with your health?

R. I said it wasn’t important, but no it doesn’t have to do with my health.

J. Ok. (pauses for a moment). Look I know the last time we spoke to each other I said some pretty awful things. I’m sorry but what you did was something I least expected.

R. Yeah I did because I couldn’t stand the way Carly was using you. Didn’t you get that?

J. I do now. Do you know that Carly and Sonny are married now?

R.(looks at him shocked.) No. I didn’t.

J. Well they are part of the reason I’m here not really because of Sonny and Carly. But on Sonny’s last birthday he received a gift from Sorrel a nice wrapped package that turn out to be a bomb . Don’t worry he didn’t get hurt or killed. we detonated it and I took the package and vowed to go after Sorrels men so Sonny could be happy with his family. Well I kept my promise and now I’m here. Here with probably bruised ribs, probably a broken finger because I can’t move it and no clean clothes.

R. Wow did Carly teach you how to make someone feel sorry for you?
J. (defending himself) No. I’m telling you the truth Robin. You know I would never lie to you.

R. Well I guess you can stay but only long enough for you to heal up and that’s it.

J. Thank you.

R. Well now that your staying here with me. First thing tomorrow your coming with me to work.

J. (curious) Why? Where do you work?

R. A hospital. I’m interning to be a doctor I finish that program in a few weeks and then I become Dr. Scorpio.

J.(he shakes his head and can’t help but smile.) Well I guess I should say congratulations and that I should of known you would be working at a hospital. So what time do we leave?

R.(looks at her watch) Oh in about 5 hours. So be ready by 6 am tomorrow. You can sleep here on the couch. I don’t think were finished with our discussion but I’m to tired to continue it. So I’ll see you in the morning. Good night Jason.

J. Uh before you go to sleep can you help me with this jacket.

R. Sure

Robin walks over to him and helps him take off his jacket and she notices how dirty his shirt under his jacket is. She places his jacket on the recliner.

R. Why don’t I get you a clean shirt. I’m sure I have one of yours here. I’ll be right back.

J. Ok

Robin leaves the room and returns with one of his gray shirts and hands it to him.

R. Here.

J. Thank you

R. Your welcome. Well good night again

J. Good night Robin

Robin leaves the room for good and goes into her room. Jason slowly takes off his dirty shirt not knowing where to put it and not wanting to leave it on the floor. He gets up before putting on his other shirt to put his dirty one on his jacket. Getting up wasn’t so bad but him walking was. He didn’t realize he was in so much pain he guess the kick in the stomach some what made it worse. About to make it over to the recliner pain over comes his stomach and he falls to the ground curled up in a fetal position holding his stomach. Robin hears the noise in her living room and goes to check out what’s going on. Surprised to see a shirtless Jason lying on the floor.

R. Oh My God Jason what are you doing?

J.( voice filled with pain) trying to put my dirty shirt on my jacket so I wouldn’t get anything of yours dirty and I didn’t want to leave it on the floor.

R. Well look at you. You can’t even walk on your own you should of left the damn shirt on the floor. (kneels down before him) Come on let me help you just try to relax.

J. Ok.

Jason does as Robin say and she helps him stand up and they walk over to the couch and sit him down. Robin turns on a light beside him and she immediately notices the second scar on his stomach.

R.(concerned) Goodness what happen to you now Jason ?

Jason just looks at her like a deer caught in headlights. Robin looks back at him concerned and shocked...
