Subject: Thoughts.

This may take up a bit of space, so sorry in advance!
I have been thinking. Yes, it's unusual for Sandspeed I know, but OOCly.
(This whole message is OOC.)
We all know the ROC is dwindling, don't we? All the vets. are talking about "the good old days when ROC was at it's best."
Well, it seems to me that no-one's doing anything to try and help the ROC along. We all just sit around and talk, talk, gloom'n'doom.
That may not be the case with some people, but it is with several people I know and especially when INSU closed down ( of which I was an avid member until it closed and I decided to leave), people were, and certainly still are, talking about a falling ROC and the poorness of BJ's recent books. Give the man a chance. He's written 13 or so Redwall books, he must be running out of ideas!

Anyway, If we still want a ROC for the next generation (sounds like we're all 73!), I think we should do something about it. If anyone has a penfriend or friend who doesn't know about Redwall, tell them! If you see a new club, join and support them!
If you read a new Redwall, critisise by ll means, but praise too, or newbies get discouraged. ( I id when I first joined a club( not FM)- they were talking about my favourite, P of Lutra and they tore it a apart!)

Please forgive my chatter,
Sands
