Subject: Info regarding possible illness/disease of dog

My 10 year-old female Lab-mix is displaying unusual symptoms. She is panting and frantically wants outside. Once she's outside the panting subsides and she lays down. This may seem normal but it is not. She also had an episode this morning where she stood in place, not moving, for about 10 minutes. Then, she layed down in the grass. She seems responsive to her name, is alert, but will not or cannot come to me. At first she would not eat or drink. Now she has taken water and eaten a dog biscuit. But, when she is brought inside, she begins the panting and begging to go out. Also, she would not get the newspaper this morning. This is her favorite thing to do because she gets a treat once the paper is inside the house. I have never had her refuse to get the paper. Please help me figure this out. I'm not crazy. My dog is in some kind of distress and I need to figure out what's going on. I'm a retired teacher and can't afford to pay for Vet tests etc. HELP!

My Cat Arial is unusually cranky and snarly lately for the past 3 months. At first I thought she might be pregnant but maybe not because she sometimes gets in heat.
I heard that a cat can't be in heat and pregnant at the same time. Is that correct? When my cat is in heat she isn't cranky, she's more affectionate. Should I take her
to the Vet if the cranky behaviour continues?
I'm really worried about her. Danial dqd@jetstream.net

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a 28 day old bunny(not weaned yet)and his entire inner ear is closed up. Its not red, just lookes like a bubble at the base on the inside of the ear. Mabey the size of a grape. The inside of the ear is completely closed. The mother is healthy, she had six kits in this litter all but this one died from exposure. He got really fat really fast, can this effect health? I check on and hold all of my kits everyday, and I just now noticed it. I don't know if somehow I've overlooked it(which I don't think is possible) or if its something that had popped up suddenly, but all the research I've done has led me nowhere so if anyone has any ideas of diagnosis or comments, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Hello, i'm in highschool and i'm supposed to interview someone who's in the field that i want to be in. It's for an algebra class.
-What are some math courses you took in college?
-How does math come up in you everyday job?
-Do you ever regret being a vet?
-What are they joys of it?
-How many years did you attend college?
-what type of veterinary field do you specialize in?

Subject: *Drives up and looks around.* If the job is open, I'd be happy to be either the Head Vetrinarian or just a regular vet here... I know quite a bit about animals...

I would like to help out here as an 'other vet' - my char has vet knowledge, but she owns a stable and wouldn't be here full-time... Just on occasion, when needed.
